MILLER REBAR, LLC. has been awarded the contract for the installation of reinforced steel, including rebar and wire mesh placement and tying, for the DeBerry Homer Elementary School project. This new consolidated facility is designed to accommodate approximately 800 students, along with an additional 120 Pre-K students, within a spacious three-story structure spanning 155,000 square feet. The construction site allowed existing schools to operate during the build, ensuring minimal disruption. While the two former schools are merged into one building, each will retain its unique identity. The design also incorporates essential features such as designated areas for vehicular drop-off and pick-up, ample parking, pedestrian access, gathering spaces, outdoor play areas, and provisions for service, delivery, and emergency access..
