Miller Rebar was engaged as a subcontractor for the Windham Intermodal Transportation Center, which spans 107,000 GSF in downtown Willimantic, Connecticut. Throughout the project, we faced significant challenges due to winter weather conditions. Nevertheless, Miller Rebar took on the responsibility of self-performing tasks related to the placement and tying of reinforced steel and wire mesh, as well as the foundation components of the structure. Our team collaborated closely with the Windham Town Engineer, GC, and various trade contractors to ensure that all aspects of the project were executed efficiently. Through this teamwork and dedication, we were able to complete the project within the established timeline, demonstrating our commitment to quality and reliability in construction.
